START IMMEDIATELY – Very busy neuropsychology practice working with mTBI/PCS patients seeks an experienced clinical neuropsychologist for part-time telemedicine assessments and evaluations. Work from your own office. 1-2 patients per week. Generous hourly pay.
Ours is a clinical and civil-forensic practice in which we primarily see patients involved in automobile crashes who may have sustained a mild concussive injury and who subsequently often develop postconcussion syndrome.
Clinical neuropsychologist responsibilities and duties.
Interview patients typically involved in automobile crashes
Refer for trauma counseling
Refer for comprehensive neuropsychological testing
Write narrative reports applicable to civil forensic settings
Responsible for all patient care by counselors and psychometricians
Clinical neuropsychologist qualifications and skills:
Prefer completion of neuropsychology postdoc fellowship
Primary/extensive experience with neuropsychological assessments and treatment
License eligible for Colorado
Experience with civil forensic settings preferred
Experience with mTBI/PCS preferred
This position is not applicable for those with primary psychological assessment experience only
We are seeking a patient-oriented, pro-active neuropsychologist focused on guiding and directing patients in their process of recovering fully from their injuries. We will provide training, if necessary, to appropriate candidates. Ability to become engaged with patients and to provide education and explanations for their current condition required.
