The neuropsychologist in the Division of Neurology will provide complete and appropriate neuropsychological evaluations for a wide variety of neurosurgical and neurological patients. Collaborates with treating physician and allied health professional team to plan and direct each individual member’s treatment program. A faculty appointment in the Division of Neurology may be considered based on applicants experience and academic interests.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs clinically indicated neuropsychological evaluation of patients with actual and suspected neurological diseases and disorders. Prepares comprehensive written assessment reports which may include diagnostic impressions. • Consults with regard to cognitive and behavioral rehabilitation for patients with neurological disorders, e.g. epilepsy, aneurysm, stroke and traumatic brain injury. Uses neuropsychological test results to inform planning for pediatric epilepsy surgery. May act as a liaison between neurology and other medical departments to develop appropriate triage and treatment programs for patients with complex medical and psychological/psychosocial needs. Participates in clinical activities with neurologists, epileptologists, and neurosurgeons. • May make recommendations on community resources to meet the needs of the member’s treatment. Refer to relevant social service agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May provide clinical supervision to doctoral psychology interns, postdoctoral psychology fellows, and other mental health trainees or medical residents as necessary. • May provide direct intervention with patients, specific to neuropsychological issues, including psychotherapy and/or family consultation where indicated. Treatment may include direct intervention and program development as well as consultation with other professionals and family member.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

4 years prior licensed experience supervising clinical services provided to children and families. Prefer familiarity with children and families coping with pediatric illness. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

The Division of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology within Neurosciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin anticipates hiring one full-time clinical neuropsychology faculty to work in the adult program.  Minimum requirements include a doctoral degree in psychology, and completion of a two-year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.  Qualified applicants should be license-eligible in the State of Wisconsin and board certified or eligible for ABPP/ABCN certification.  Applicants at any level will be considered.

Clinical responsibilities include provision of neuropsychological services to adult patients with a variety of medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions presenting in both acute and chronic stages of disease evolution.  In addition to strong general neuropsychological practice in the adult service, major programmatic commitments are made to the Department’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic, Neuro-oncology Clinic, and Memory Disorder’s Program.  Other established and developing programs include multiple sclerosis, stroke, normal pressure hydrocephalus, congenital heart disease, and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders.  Teaching responsibilities include lectures and supervision of postdoctoral residents in clinical neuropsychology (4 in the adult track) and practicum students from five regional graduate programs.  Successful candidates will have strong interests in clinical research.  Interest in participating in the fellowship training program is required.  Many opportunities are available within the Department for joining existing teams of researchers or developing an area of personal interest.  The Department supports a major fMRI research laboratory devoted to understanding normal and abnormal language functions, a MEG research center, collaborative IOM program for brain tumors, a Post-Covid Clinic, and several clinical research databases. POSITION SUMMARY

A growing private practice is seeking a full-time neuropsychologist to provide neuropsychological testing and evaluation services to the citizens of St. George, Utah, and surrounding communities.

The neuropsychologist is an independently licensed practitioner who carries his/her own outpatient caseload based on referrals from specialists, primarily neurologists, and primary care physicians from surrounding communities. The successful candidate will join a practice that already includes three exceptional psychometrists.  The position is supported by experienced clerical and clinical staff to schedule patients, verify benefits, and assist with billing and coding concerns. QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking an individual with experience assessing medical and developmental disorders.  This position will involve providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments (interviews, obtaining information from collateral sources, selecting, administering, and interpreting neuropsychological measures, provision of feedback, report-writing) within the framework of a multidisciplinary team.  Other responsibilities include consultations with families, schools, physicians, and allied health care providers as needed.
