The Department of Psychology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position is a full-time, 12-month academic appointment for a research-focused faculty member.

The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, Ltd. (MCN) seeks a clinical neuropsychologist to join our busy practice in Golden Valley, with possible office hours in one or two of our other locations. This position provides outpatient neuropsychological assessment for adult patients with a broad spectrum of neurological disorders.

Successful candidates will be Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited APA graduate program and board certified (or nearing completion of board certification process) through the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Education: Service Provider shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship.

Additionally, each Service Provider must have specialized training in neuropsychology and be skilled in specialized testing and assessment procedure as recognized by either the National Academy of Neuropsychology or Division 40 of the American Psychological Association.

Licensure(s). Must have and maintain a current license to practice Neuro and Clinical/Counseling Psychology in anyone of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services.

Must have and maintain a current, active, valid, unrestricted state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the United States, or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, as required to obtain or renew a DEA registration number under the then-effective DEA rules.

Have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted. BLS recertification shall be maintained in a current status at all times while the Health Care Provider (HCP) is performing services under this contract.

Each HCP shall be able to obtain privileges and be credentialed (as appropriate) by the MTF

FACULTY POSITION IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions.

Gaylord Hospital, a premier long term acute care hospital centrally located in Wallingford, CT, seeks an experienced Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic Department of Psychology which offers outpatient and inpatient neuropsychological assessments and psychotherapy.

You will provide neuropsychological assessment for outpatients with suspected or previously diagnosed brain impairment. Your patients will present with a range of neuropsychiatric disorders from neurology, physiatry, and primary care referral sources, with common questions involving management of acute concussion, post-concussive syndrome, and neurodegenerative disease.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in adolescent, adult and geriatric assessment, and knowledge and interest in neuropsychological assessment of disorders such as stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis and dementia. Requires one year of training at the internship level that includes neuropsychological assessment, in addition to completion of a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Additional clinical experience a plus. Requires a doctorate from an accredited graduate school in psychology, with a license to practice psychology in the State of Connecticut.
