Student Leadership Positions

Each year, the AACN Student Affairs Committee (SAC) selects one neuropsychology trainee for the leadership position to join the AACN Board of Directors (BOD) for a one-year term. As Student Representative, the individual will provide valuable insight from the perspective of trainees to AACN BOD activities.  Duties of the Student Representative involve attending the AACN Board meetings at the June AACN conference and the February INS meeting, and participating (via email and phone conference) in BOD discussions and in student-related AACN activities.  Appointment is for one year, which runs from May 1 to April 30 each year. The student representative to the AACN BOD receives $500 travel deferment for participating (on site) in each of the two annual meetings to help offset additional costs (personal meals [no alcohol], lodging, transportation, poster costs). The student representative also receives free registration to the annual AACN meeting.
