Scam Alert
Every year, private companies send bulk emails claiming to offer annual AACN Conference attendee lists or third-party booking options for lodging. Those are scams. The AACN does not release attendee lists to outside companies, and can be hurt financially when you book outside of our official room block at the conference hotel. The scam sites could also steal your information and money. Although those emails are annoying, there is an easy solution: mark them as spam in your email system (e.g., Outlook, Gmail) and then ignore them. Responding in any other way, even to “unsubscribe”, can actually put you in the crosshairs for more scams (scammers feel no obligation to respect your “unsubscribe” request).
