The National Institute of Mental Health Intramural Neuropsychology Consult Service is seeking a full-time psychometrist to fill an upcoming opening. The job responsibilities include:

  • Conducting clinical and research neuropsychological testing of medically ill research patients and healthy participants under the direction of clinical neuropsychologists. These duties include administering, scoring, and summarizing results for a range of neuropsychological, intellectual, and other psychological assessment instruments.
  • Overseeing the clinical and research neuropsychological testing conducted by students and other personnel. Specifically, this includes monitoring the quality of test administration/scoring of other personnel and providing training documentation.
  • Initiating and completing scheduling of patients/participants for testing.
  • Organizing and maintaining participant files (virtual and paper) containing participant information and test results.
  • Maintaining and entering data into computer databases containing patient/participant information and test results.
  • Ensuring an adequate supply of testing materials is available for usage.

This position is on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD. Candidates with testing experience and those with an interest in neuropsychology are encouraged to apply.
