Is seeking a Full-time Licensed Neuropsychologist (Delaware)

Busy neurorehabilitation clinic with a unique focus on Acquired Brain Injuries, including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion, seeking a neuropsychologist who is interested in and wants to significantly contribute to an expanding team invested in delivering excellent patient care. The neuropsychologist must be able to provide services to adolescents and adults aged 18 and above and work in the outpatient setting. We will be working with a mixture of patients with progressive neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia and Parkinson's disease, unexplained cognitive impairment, concussions, TBI, and many patients in need of differential diagnosis. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assessing and evaluating the symptoms of neurological conditions that cause cognitive and mood impairment using a neuropsychological and psychological battery of tests in-person.  
• Providing treatment/remediation recommendations. 
• Working with an interdisciplinary team of Physiatrist, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Psychologists.      
• Answer clinical questions via in-person interactions or telephone calls
• Partner with healthcare and administrative staff to create a patient-centered, inviting, and supportive environment for patients and families. 
• You are expected to finish your work related to patient care each day including documentation. 

Pay: $110K-$140K/yr with additional compensation (based on experience and background)

FT: Full-Time

Hours: 8 hrs/Day 40 hrs/Week

Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Education

• Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology
• Internship including at least one neuropsychology rotation
• Postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology is a plus

Experience

• Minimum two to five years of clinical experience with neuropsychological evaluations and neurorehabilitation (Preferred, but will seriously consider individuals who have completed a two-year postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship)

License/Certification

• Licensed or fully eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Delaware.
