We are seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic Department of Psychology. Our Neuropsychology Team primarily focuses on providing outpatient services to a robust network of referring providers throughout the state. As a member of the team, you will provide neuropsychological assessment for adults with a wide variety of neurological disorders including traumatic brain injury, mild cognitive impairment, dementia syndromes, stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. There will be opportunity to participate as a valued member of our interdisciplinary Concussion Center, Workers’ Compensation program, and COVID clinic. The Neuropsychology Team also conducts occasional inpatient capacity evaluations as needed.

Based on the candidates’ experience, expertise, and interests, there may also be opportunities to participate in program development, medical-legal evaluations, disability evaluations, pilot assessments, and the HABIT Program.

The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, motivated, collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to the field of neuropsychology. Although the position is adult focused, candidates with lifespan experience are encouraged to apply. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

This position requires a PhD/PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program, completion of a formal two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology that meets Houston Conference Guidelines, licensure in Connecticut, and ABPP board certification or board eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the Director of the MWC, the Neuropsychologist is responsible for the following:

• Conduct the assessment of patients referred secondary to cognitive complaints, particularly memory decline.
• Carry out comprehensive assessments including cognitive and psychological functioning as well as an assessment of each patient’s current lifestyle.
• Provide a comprehensive report to the inter-disciplinary team with diagnostic impressions and relevant care and treatment recommendations for the patient, caregivers, and health care providers.
• Conduct comprehensive driving evaluations and make recommendations to the referring physicians regarding the patient’s ability to drive safely and provide a brief impression of overall cognitive and psychological status. Provide psychotherapeutic intervention to individuals and groups as indicated.
• Work with practicum students providing training and supervision in order to develop and sharpen their diagnostic skills along with their clinical skills.
• Create and develop new programs related to cognitive stimulation/rehabilitation for patient and caregivers.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in psychology with a field of study in clinical Psychology, which includes one year of a supervised internship experience in professional psychology/Neuropsychologist; or licensure as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 490, F.S.

Must have one year of appropriate experience required.

Clinical experience in geriatrics preferred.

Previous work experience in a University setting, community clinic, healthcare environment or in research preferred.

Ability to diagnose and treat health problems.

Ability to demonstrate compassion/caring required.

Spanish speaker preferred.

The Neuropsychology Division in the Department of Neurological Sciences (DONS) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), in partnership with Nebraska Medicine hospital, is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time adult/geriatric focused neuropsychologist. The position includes a faculty appointment within the Department with rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This primarily clinical position will involve neuropsychological evaluations of adult and geriatric patients with memory and movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, stroke, and epilepsy, as well as occasional involvement in interdisciplinary clinics (geriatric assessment clinic and/or liver transplant). Opportunities for clinical program development and sub-specialization exist, depending on the neuropsychologist’s interests and areas of expertise.

The neuropsychologist will additionally contribute to the UNMC academic mission through teaching and supervision of neuropsychology trainees and medical residents/fellows and community outreach activities. Opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaboration are plentiful. The neuropsychologist will join a collaborative team in the DONS Neuropsychology Division comprised of six adult/geriatric neuropsychologists, two pediatric neuropsychologists, two neuropsychology fellows, one practicum student, and six psychometrists.

Qualifications for the position include a doctoral degree from an APA/CPA-accredited program, completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship program, and completion of a two-year Neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship. The Neuroscience Institute of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist to join their team in Lancaster, PA.

Join a group of board certified neuropsychologist, psychologist, psychology doctoral interns, a licensed professional counselor and a certified specialist in psychometry all working collaboratively to provide quality patient center care. Our practice provides psychological evaluation and treatment services to patients within an inpatient and outpatient setting and works closely with other neurology providers in one location at the Neuroscience Institute. Our Neuropsychology team cares for adolescent (13 through 18 years old), adult (19 through 64 years old), and geriatric (64 and above). Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NH

The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Lebanon, NH is seeking a doctoral level Adult Neuropsychologist with strong clinical, teaching, and program development interests to join its faculty and serve patients within the Department of Neurology.

We are interested in individuals who are passionate about efficiently delivering high-quality neuropsychological care in a rural environment. In this role, you would work with an engaged multidisciplinary team of providers largely focused on epilepsy and behavioral neurology populations.

DHMC is the largest academic medical center in northern New England and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Center in New Hampshire. Working alongside neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and an experienced epilepsy team, the selected applicant would contribute to surgical planning and the management of complex epilepsy patients. This position includes dedicated time for supervision and teaching of postdoctoral fellows, as well as program development. Neuropsychology faculty work closely with a variety of departments at Dartmouth and the local VA.
