The Center for Pediatric Neuropsychology is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment of toddlers, children, and adolescents presenting with a wide range of neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our patients consist of a wide range of genetic, medical, and neurodevelopmental concerns. The referral base is extensive and we collaborate with a variety of medical specialists in the area. Our team includes three pediatric neuropsychologists, two of whom hold subspecialist certification, a child psychiatrist/developmental behavioral pediatrician, and a full-time psychometrist. Candidates must have completed a PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited psychology graduate program, a similarly accredited internship, and a fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology with specialty training in pediatric practice, preferably within a hospital setting. Eligibility for ABCN certification is strongly preferred and eligibility for Minnesota Licensure is required.
Minnesota Epilepsy Group, PA is a private, academically oriented neurological practice specializing in the treatment of adults and children with epilepsy and related disorders. Pediatric patients are seen in our outpatient clinic on the campus of United Hospital and Children’s Minnesota in downtown St Paul, as well as our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Children’s Minnesota Hospital. We also accept referrals from community physicians for a wide range of developmental and other neurological disorders. Our Neuropsychologists are assisted in testing and scoring by a team of psychometrists. This position involves close collaboration with a collegial group of pediatric neurologists and other team members in the evaluation of epilepsy patients as well as candidates for epilepsy surgery, including Wada testing and brain mapping procedures. This position also provides opportunities to engage in related clinical research. Specialized training in the neuropsychology of epilepsy is not required. We welcome inquiries from postdoctoral fellows who are still in training.
