The University of Kansas Health System is recruiting for a neuropsychologist as part of our expansion to meet increasing demand for our services. The position is housed within the neuropsychology division of the neurology department and will mainly involve outpatient assessment with adults, as well as some inpatient assessment and participation in interdisciplinary clinics with a brief assessment/consultation model. There are also opportunities to participate in training and research within our academic medical center setting, though the primary responsibilities are clinical. Please note that, while the job description includes Wada and cortical mapping as potential responsibilities, previous experience with such procedures is not a requirement to apply. The Kansas City area is an attractive mid-sized city with many advantages of a larger city (e.g., arts, professional/collegiate sports, many dining options), but also an affordable cost of living, easy commuting, and several excellent area school districts.
