We are pleased to announce a full-time position opening for a clinical neuropsychologist to join our group private practice. Our work consists of outpatient neuropsychological evaluations of adults and older adults, as well as a minority of adolescent cases. Referrals typically come from area neurologists, primary care physicians, and psychiatrists. Forensic work is available.
Our group consists of five neuropsychologists, six technicians, and three office staff in two locations. We are committed to bringing on a colleague who is either board-certified or intends to become board certified in the near future. We are pleased to provide support for board certification expenses.
The position is full-time and includes numerous benefits (health insurance, retirement plan with matching employer contribution, malpractice insurance, licensure renewal fees, and support for board certification costs). The practice provides all necessary office space, furniture, computer hardware and software, technician labor, and testing materials. We have excellent administrative, IT, and billing support as well.
The culture at TNS is open, warm, and friendly. We place a high value on collaborative team-work. Our goal is to do our best work, make a good living, and enjoy the process. We value collegiality, flexibility, humor, and an appreciation of the business nature of private practice. There is a possibility of partnership or co-ownership.
Minimum qualifications include: 1) a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology; 2) completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology; and 3) licensure as a psychologist. Individuals who are nearly licensed or would be able to become licensed in North Carolina in the near future are welcome to apply as well.
