AACN is the organization for those psychologists who have achieved
board certification in the specialty of Clinical Neuropsychology,
under the auspices of the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology
(ABCN). Affiliate
membership is available for those interested in participating
in non-voting activities of the Academy (for the application for

here). Student membership is also available (for the application for
student membership, please click here).
AACN
supports continued maintenance of standards in Clinical Neuropsychology
through the established board certification process of ABCN.
AACN supports the continued development of the ABCN examination
process, and advocates for the standards represented by board
certification.
AACN
has an annual meeting open both to members and nonmembers. The meeting
includes an extensive continuing education program which will be
of interest to all, including special courses for candidates for
board certification and for AACN members and others to maintain
specialty knowledge. The
Clinical Neuropsychologist is the official journal of AACN. In addition to copies of AACN policy statements
which can be accessed by the link on the right, The Clinical Neuropsychologist
publishes all AACN official policies and documents.

Scientific Program - Call for Posters
Once again we are pleased to announce a call for abstracts for the Scientific Program at the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN) Annual Conference & Workshops scheduled for June 20-23, 2012 at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel.
Over the past 9 years the Scientific Program has featured an excellent poster session on varied topics in adult and pediatric neuropsychology to complement the lineup of outstanding continuing education workshops. The number of submissions has increased substantially every year. This year, the scientific poster session will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Online Poster Abstract Submission: Neuropsychologists, psychologists, students, interns, and residents are encouraged to submit their work for presentation. The annual Edith Kaplan Trainee Research Award will be presented to the trainee voted to have the best poster presentation.
