Henry Ford Health System, Behavioral Health Services is seeking a clinical neuropsychologist to perform neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan. The ideal candidate would be able to see patients of all ages, though those with more restricted range will also be considered.
Currently, we have 6 full time and 3 part-time neuropsychologists on staff and are rapidly growing. The division of Neuropsychology conducts evaluations on patients across all ages with various neurological, neurosurgical, medical, psychiatric and sports related injuries. Neuropsychologists predominantly work in an outpatient setting and as part of multi-disciplinary teams within the following specialty clinics: Autism, Sports Concussion, Geriatrics, Neurology residency and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. Additionally, we provide coverage on our inpatient epilepsy monitoring unit and actively participate in weekly and bi-weekly epilepsy and deep brain stimulation surgical conferences.
In addition to clinical care, the incumbent neuropsychologist would be responsible for supervision of psychology externs, interns and post-doctoral fellows. There are 3 APA-approved interns, 3 APPCN post-doctoral fellows, 4 practicum students and the opportunity to work with medical students, residents and fellows. For those who qualify academic appointment at Wayne State University is available. Research and forensic work are encouraged and supported by the health system.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology and have completed an American or Canadian Psychological Association approved Pre-doctoral internship and Post-doctoral training in neuropsychology. The incumbent neuropsychologist should be board eligible. Board certification is required within 3 years of your start date in accordance with Henry Ford Health System Medical Group policy.

Position Overview

CPA is expanding and is seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team of 6 neuropsychologists (4 are board-certified) and 30+ other behavioral health specialists.

North Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center has an exciting opportunity for a Neuropsychologist. This team member will generate the full range of neuropsychological evaluations, assessment, and diagnostic services using accepted procedures and test instruments. This team member will also administer the full range of neurocognitive rehabilitation services (e.g. individual, group, family and community outreach) to patients with neurobehavioral disorders, including stroke, dementia, movement disorder, and traumatic brain injuries, TBI, and other neurocognitive maladjustments. This team member will also provide consultative opinions and suggestions to other health professionals as well as render consultative opinions to outside agencies. Establishes with the patients appropriate goals for treatment, provides appropriate treatment, and reviews progress toward these goals.

Education:
1.Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology or related field of psychology with licensure as a Licensed Psychologist from the Minnesota State Board of Psychology.
2.Graduated from an APA accredited university and clinical internship.

Experience:
1.At least (1) year of post-doctoral experience in providing direct clinical services in neuropsychology, psychology, counseling, or other related health services field.

Geisinger Health System is seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist for the Neuropsychology Section, Division of Psychiatry in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

The current opening will largely involve being the lead neuropsychologist for the Aging Brain Program in the Wilkes-Barre region in conjunction with the Department of Neurology. The Neuropsychologist will take part in an interdisciplinary team, including a Behavioral Neurologist, contributing to comprehensive assessments and management of geriatric patients with concerns for neurocognitive disorders.

The Neuropsychology Section sponsors a Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Residency Program, with which there will be opportunity to participate in, and there will also be teaching opportunities within the newly developing Psychiatry Residency program. Research opportunities are also available.

The Neuropsychology Section handles outpatient referrals across a full array of medical, neurologic and psychiatric conditions and provides inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological evaluations and consultations to a large community practice network as well as various specialty medical services, including Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Medicine, and Cardiology. In addition to working with the Aging Brain Program, some limited opportunity for involvement in additional areas of interest could be possible.

The Neuropsychology Section in the Department of Neurology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (http://neurology.medicine.iu.edu) and Indiana University Health Physicians has an immediate opening for an Adult Neuropsychologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The Section of Neuropsychology is situated in new space inside a unique, integrated clinical neuroscience center of excellence (http://iuhealth.org/neurology-neurosurgery/experience/), comprising neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, and related services.

Responsibilities will include coordination and provision of clinical assessment services, participation in multidisciplinary treatment teams, supervision of pre- and post-doctoral trainees and staff, and participation in the overall academic mission (including lectures to neurology residents). Major patient populations include movement disorders, oncology, epilepsy, and brain injury, as well as a broad range of complex medical disorders. Although primarily a clinical position, there are significant opportunities for participation in research, including brain imaging work in alcoholism risk, Alzheimer disease, stroke, and epilepsy.

Requirements include post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology and eligibility for licensure in Indiana. The Neuropsychology Division of the LifeBridge Health Berman Brain & Spine Institute, located at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, is seeking a neuropsychologist who specializes in adult and geriatric neuropsychology. Candidates for the position will have obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology and will have completed postdoctoral training in neuropsychology that complies with the training guidelines of Division 40 of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN).
