New York University Langone Health (NYULH), Department of Neurology is recruiting an early- to early-mid career full-time adult neuropsychologist.  In addition to neuropsychological assessment within the Department of Neurology Faculty Group Practice, the neuropsychologist will engage in the educational activities of the Neuropsychology Division, which spans the Department of Neurology clinical specialty divisions and campuses within the NYULH enterprise. 

NYU Langone Health Neurology and Neurosurgery are ranked first by U.S. News Best Hospitals in 2024-2025. NYULH is a world-class, patient-centered, integrated academic medical center, known for its excellence in clinical care, research, and education. 
The neuropsychologist will be embedded within the NYULH Department of Neurology’s outpatient setting performing neuropsychological consultative assessments.

While demonstrated experience in dementia syndromes is required for the position, the range of consultation questions and multidimensional clinical presentations of the patient population require broad knowledge across specialties and disease presentations as well as the ability to tailor assessment approaches and written communications to different referral sources.  This clinical variety provides an intellectually stimulating and engaging environment for the neuropsychologist who is interested in life-long learning.  The tremendous diversity (e.g., linguistic, cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic) of the patient population within the NYULH catchment area demands experience with and ongoing commitment to cultural competency and dedication to meeting the assessment needs of patients from a myriad of backgrounds.

Minimum qualifications include PhD or PsyD from a Clinical Psychology (or related health service psychology area) program accredited by APA or CPA, and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology.  NYS psychology licensure (or license eligible) is required. Board certification, or eligibility for certification, by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) is required. If not already attained, completion of the ABCN board credential is required within five years of hire.  All candidates must meet NYULH criteria for psychology core privileges. Documentation of additional specialty education/training is required for non-core clinical privileges (e.g., neuropsychological assessment).

 

Salary range: $100,000-$130,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. The Division Chief will dedicate 75% of their time to clinical activities, with a focus tailored to the candidate’s interests. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Psychology Department at Montclair State University is pleased to invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology, to begin in September 2025. We are seeking a dynamic colleague to join the collaborative core and associated faculty of our PhD and MA programs in clinical psychology. Area of research specialization is open, although we have a preference for candidates whose research specialty is relevant to clinical neuropsychology and can lend to the Department’s strengths in neuroscience and cognition and the popularity of neuropsychology among clinical psychology students. Position Overview

At OSUWMC, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Patients come to the Department of Neurology at OSUWMC for treatments and services they cannot find elsewhere. The department has a diverse cadre of faculty and staff who work together toward the tripartite mission of patient care, education, and research. Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include outpatient neuropsychological evaluation of adults in an integrated clinical setting and engagement in transdisciplinary scholarly activities relating to adults with neurological diseases, such as dementia, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy. In addition to opportunities to train medical residents, the Neuropsychology Division has recently developed a practicum training program, and we collaborate with our colleagues in the Psychiatry Department in their APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship. Additional clinical opportunities may be available (e.g., cognitive rehabilitation, psychotherapy for patients or caregivers, participation in multidisciplinary clinics), depending on interest.

Adult Neuropsychology Division at UTMB
The Adult Neuropsychology Division of the Neurology Department offers assessment and consultation to evaluate emotional and cognitive functioning in patients with known or suspected brain dysfunction. Neuropsychological evaluation is clinically indicated and medically necessary when patients show signs or symptoms of global intellectual decline or specific cognitive deficits such as memory problems, language disorders, visuospatial perceptual abnormalities, or decline in problem-solving skills. Neuropsychological evaluation yields information to assist in diagnosis, specify cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and monitor changes following neurosurgical procedures or due to brain trauma, multiple sclerosis, cerebrovascular disease, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, HIV, as well as other conditions that can affect emotional and cognitive functioning. As a Neuropsychologist at Integrated Psych Solutions (IPS), you will be part of an integrated, early-intervention approach to mental healthcare that benefits patients, staff, and the facilities we work with. The Neurosciences Program at Advocate Aurora Health is rapidly growing, and neuropsychology is a valued part of this multidisciplinary team that delivers comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals with complex neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. We are pleased to announce two pediatric neuropsychologist openings. The first position will be in Greenfield, WI (a Milwaukee suburb) housed within children’s health, with shared office space with many referring providers for easy collaboration. The second position will be in Milwaukee (Aurora Sinai Medical Center). Primary responsibilities will include neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting, as well as potential inpatient consultations in one of our affiliated hospitals. Referrals will come from pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, and throughout the Advocate Aurora system.

The current positions are primarily clinical. Experience working with both medical/neurological and developmentally-based patient populations is highly preferred. Opportunities for research and training of advanced graduate students are available if desired. Qualified candidates will have completed a 2-year fellowship in neuropsychology, be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Wisconsin, and be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology.

Banner University Medical Center and the Transplant Surgery team is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join our integrated team and comprehensively serve patients receiving the gift of an organ transplant. 

Receiving an organ transplant is a positive, life-changing event coupled with varied emotions for patients and their loved ones. If you have a passion for assisting patients through life-changing events, please consider this position. In collaboration with the Transplant Institute, the team transplant Neuropsychologist will:

– Conduct pre-surgical evaluations for the transplant surgery team
 – Provide follow-up care for patients who experience challenges post-surgery

– Partner with the integrated transplant sub-teams to deliver excellent care while improving the quality of life of our patients and their family members.
  

The transplant Neuropsychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to the transplant recipients, living donors, and their families. Duties include pre-transplant evaluations, outpatient and inpatient clinical consultation, patient and family therapy (e.g., understanding of illness and transplantation procedures, emotional adaptation to chronic illness, adjustment to procedures, adherence to the medical regimen), and collaboration during team meetings and multi-disciplinary conferences regarding transplant listing decisions and patient management strategies.

 

Responsibilities include:

– Screening for substance abuse or dependence, and facilitate treatment
 – Screening for psychiatric issues, and facilitate treatment
 – Screening for health literacy and cognitive impairments
 – Reviewing and mobilizing family support and other resources
 – Evaluating candidates for transplant or MCS candidacy to optimize compliance and effectiveness
 – Providing brief, evidenced-based treatment consistent with comprehensive interdisciplinary care to improve patient satisfaction and cost-effectiveness
– Managing psychopathology and substance abuse risk
 – Assessing motivation to improve, barriers to optimal compliance, and stage of change
 – Work collaboratively with MSW in a program to develop comprehensive mental health plans for candidates
– Provide input to the transplant & MCS teams as to candidate risk for recidivism (where pertinent)  and non-adherence to complex medical regimen
  

Qualification Requirements:

– Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology
– Must have completed an APA accredited clinical internship licensure by applicable state Board of Psychologist Examiners
– New Grads and Experienced Neuropsychologists are encouraged to apply!
