The Department of Neurology at the University of California, at Davis will have openings for two neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows to begin September 1, 2025. The positions will be based on the UC Davis Medical Center campus in Sacramento CA. We typically have 3-4 neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows in the program at any given time. Fellows participate in clinical, didactic and scholarly/research activities. This is primarily a clinically based postdoctoral fellowship, although we can also accommodate trainees who are seeking greater research experience and want to pursue an academic career. Clinical work focuses on conducting both comprehensive as well as more brief neuropsychological assessments. Opportunities for treatment are also available, including involvement in group-based brain health interventions for older adults. We offer an extensive didactic program, as well as numerous other training opportunities typical of a large university medical center.   Fellows will conduct evaluations on adults with a wide variety of neurological disorders including: various dementias (e.g., AD, FTD, Primary Progressive Aphasia syndromes), epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, CNS tumors, stroke, MS, TBI, etc. Participation in Wada testing and intra-operative and extra-operative cortical brain mapping is also available and fellows regularly attend case conference associated with the epilepsy and deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgical programs. These are all two-year positions with competitive annual salary (approximately $72,000) plus benefits.

In this role, you would work with an engaged multidisciplinary team of providers largely focused on behavioral neurology. This neuropsychologist will work with the local neurologists in this Manchester location and have opportunities to collaborate with the Lebanon-based team.

· Applicants are expected to have specialized training in neuropsychological evaluation, with preference for candidates with expertise in adult and/or older adult populations.
· The candidate should be eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia and is expected to initiate the registration process within the first 12 months of hire and maintain registration throughout their employment.
· Demonstrated interest and/or expertise in research related to clinical neuropsychology or a related field. Innovation and excellence in research are of greater importance than the specific focus. We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist in our growing team in the Division of Behavioral Health at Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, DE.

The focus of this Pediatric Neuropsychologist position is to provide neuropsychological services within our active outpatient medical specialty clinics and clinical programs. This individual will provide care for children and adolescents who present with a wide range of diagnoses, including traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, brain tumors and other cancers, concussion/mTBI, genetic/metabolic disorders, and various acquired brain disorders. The position includes collaboration with multiple medical specialties and interdisciplinary teams (e.g., Hematology/Oncology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Developmental Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery), including coordination with other Behavioral Health providers. Both consultation and liaison, as well as team participation, are valued service models.

In addition to general outpatient services, the neuropsychologist will also evaluate patients in our acute concussion program. This multidisciplinary clinic includes specialists from Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neuropsychology, Psychology, and Outpatient Therapy services. Within this setting, the neuropsychologist will provide serial assessments to monitor concussion recovery, update treatment plans, and inform return to learn and return to play decisions.

While the neuropsychologist’s expectations are primarily clinical, we welcome applicants who may also have a secondary interest in clinical research. There are many opportunities in the hospital to support clinical research, including research mentorship and grant application support. The Department of Psychology at Smith College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Neuropsychology at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2025.  We are open to a broad range of content expertise addressing human neuropsychology (especially affective neuroscience, and/or assessment of neurological or clinical conditions that create neurodivergence such as autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders, dementia, or traumatic brain injuries). Expertise in psychopharmacology is also welcome. Successful candidates should be prepared to engage actively with undergraduate liberal arts students who hold a diverse range of demographic identities. Teaching responsibilities for this position will regularly include two courses per semester (sometimes two sections of the same course): a course in the introductory sequence (e.g., Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Neuropsychology, or Research Methods), an intermediate course in an area of expertise that complements the current offerings (e.g., Neuropsychology Assessment, Brain, Behavior, and Emotion, or Psychopharmacology), an upper-level seminar (e.g., Seminar on Autism Spectrum Disorders) or another topic in the candidate’s area of expertise, or Practicum Seminar affording students opportunities to engage with the neuropsychology assessment process with actual patients) plus academic advising and mentoring (e.g., conducting empirical research in the candidate’s field of interest and/or illuminating career paths in neuropsychology assessment).  Other courses may be taught depending upon departmental needs in negotiation with the candidate. The successful applicant will maintain an active research program through which Smith students can obtain hands-on experience as researchers including presenting and writing research. The candidate’s teaching and/or research should provide students with opportunities to work with neuropsychology assessment tools and/or encounter people seeking neuropsychology assessment services. We are especially interested in candidates whose methods include contemporary data-collection techniques (e.g., non-invasive methods of assessing behavior-brain relationships) and/or advanced statistics and/or mixed method data analysis. A Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited doctoral program is expected by the time of appointment. The candidate’s record should show specialization in neuropsychology or related work with humans. Licensure is not required. Candidates from groups underrepresented in Psychology are encouraged to apply.

Who we’re looking for:

• Current license in Psychology from the California Board of Psychology.

• Two years or more of post licensure experience.

• Two years of psychological testing, including neuropsychological testing and report writing experience.
