Neuropsychology Group of West Virginia PLLC is a private practice neuropsychology assessment clinic in Morgantown, West Virginia.  We provide neuropsychological assessment services to individuals across the lifespan, and our group enjoys an excellent regional reputation. Referrals come from across the state of West Virginia as well as from surrounding states, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. Brown University Health: Bradley and Hasbro Children’s Hospitals, affiliated teaching hospitals of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University have two openings for outpatient pediatric neuropsychologists. Bradley Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital (RIH)/Hasbro Children’s Hospital (HCH) are part of the Brown University Health hospital system in Rhode Island and are teaching hospitals for the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Bradley Position: Bradley Hospital is a private, non-for-profit child and adolescent psychiatric hospital that provides a range of family-focused, high quality mental heatlh care to children, adolescents, and young adults with emotional disorders and/or developmental disabilities.

The Neuropsychologist will:

-Conduct clinical assessments through structured interviews of patients, families and other relevant parties to formulate an individualized plan of treatment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

-Current licensure by the State of Illinois.
-Completion of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited school of psychology and successful completion of a clinical internship and necessary postdoctoral supervised experience to obtain licensure. Knowledge of psychological principles, development, interpersonal dynamics, behavioral modification and other treatment techniques acquired through this level of academic study.
-Approximately two to three years of progressively more complex experience in health related clinical environments. Advanced training and certification in health psychology, rehabilitation psychology and/or neuropsychology desirable to meet this standard.

This is a clinical position that was created to address growing demands for our general adult neuropsychology service, which serves patients with a broad range of issues, including neurologic conditions (brain tumor, stroke, dementia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, concussion, and others), mood and anxiety disorders, and other cognitive concerns. The clinical practice model is based on neuropsychologist interview and interpretation, supported by psychometrist-administered testing.
