Dayton Children’s Hospital, in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting a pediatric neuropsychologist as we embark on our initiative to expand mental health services. Candidates must possess a doctorate from an APA accredited program in psychology or neuropsychology with fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology. Candidates must be licensed or license eligible in Ohio. Consideration will be given to those in the second year of postdoctoral training.

 

The successful candidate will serve the assessment needs of well over 35 medical subspecialties represented within our hospital and community. Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist to join the Department of Psychology. This unique position offers the ability to follow patients throughout their continuum of care, from the inpatient hospital to the community/outpatient setting.

The neuropsychologist is an integral part of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, which includes physicians, nursing, case management, and physical, speech, and occupational therapists. The primary patient populations include stroke and acute acquired brain injury; secondary populations are patients with complex medical conditions and dementia.

West Tennessee Healthcare is seeking to add an additional full-time Neuropsychologist to join our West Tennessee Neuroscience and Spine Center in Jackson, TN. This established practice is part of the West Tennessee Medical Group, a large multi-specialty employed provider group affiliated with Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital. The Department of Neurology at the University of California, at Davis (UCD) will have openings for two neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows to begin September 1, 2023. At one given time, we typically have about 4 postdoctoral fellows. Fellows will participate in clinical, didactic and research activities. Clinical work focuses on conducting both comprehensive as well as more brief neuropsychological assessments. Opportunities for treatment are also available, including involvement in group-based brain health interventions for older adults. We offer an extensive didactic program, as well as numerous other training opportunities typical of a large university medical center.  One position will be based on the UC Davis Medical Center campus in Sacramento CA. Fellows in the Sacramento location will conduct evaluations on adults with a wide variety of neurological disorders including: various dementias (e.g., AD, FTD, Primary Progressive Aphasia syndromes), epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, CNS tumors, stroke, MS, TBI, etc. Participation in Wada testing and intra-operative and extra-operative cortical brain mapping is also available and fellows regularly attend case conference associated with the epilepsy and deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgical programs.   • There is also ongoing research across the department (i.e., movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis) that one can participate in. There is also departmental support for team members to develop their own line of research.
  • The neuropsychologist will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the neuropsychology program and develop specialized services to expand the program (e.g., brain health clinic, cognitive interventions, etc.).

Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking an academic clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in neuropsychological evaluations and interest in COVID to join the Division of Neuropsychology within the Department of Neurology at BWH. The individual will also work closely with providers in the Division of Pulmonology. Applicants should have a record of expertise in clinical neuropsychology, and should have a passionate commitment to patient care, teaching, teamwork and collegiality.

Academic title will be Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with a candidate’s experience and scholarship in the field. A strong commitment to teaching is required as it is expected that the candidate engage in education of the Harvard community a minimum of 50 hours per year. The applicant will become a member of the Center for Brain Mind Medicine (CBMM), a robust clinical and research entity that encompasses programs in behavioral neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, and social work. The individual will work closely with the team in the Covid Recovery Center (CRC), a multidisciplinary center for patients who have lingering symptoms COVID-19 infection/treatment. Candidates must have a Massachusetts psychology license upon position start date and be board-certified or board-eligible in clinical neuropsychology.
