The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist in the In-Residence series at the Full Professor rank. Faculty in this series are expected to engage in teaching, independent research, and creative work, demonstrate professional competence and activity, and provide University and public service.

The successful candidate will maintain a successful program of research related to the cognitive neuroscience of epilepsy. The incumbent will also collaborate, as relevant, in other active research at UC Davis in the area of epilepsy. S/he will be expected to participate in teaching activities, including teaching and supervision of clinical neuropsychology fellows and participation in Epilepsy case conferences.

The incumbent will also be expected to provide some outpatient clinical care as a neuropsychologist performing neuropsychological evaluations. S/he may also provide occasional inpatient work, primarily to conduct Wada testing and intra-operative and extra-operative language mapping. All faculty members are required to provide service to the department and University.

Henry Ford Health System, Behavioral Health Services is seeking a clinical neuropsychologist to perform neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan with a primary focus in pediatrics. The ideal candidate would be able to see patients of all ages and have expertise in child neuropsychology and autism.

Currently, we have 7 full time and 2 part-time neuropsychologists on staff and are rapidly growing. The division of Neuropsychology conducts evaluations on patients across all ages with various neurological, neurosurgical, medical, psychiatric and sports related injuries.  Neuropsychologists predominantly work in an outpatient setting and as part of multi-disciplinary teams within the following specialty clinics: Autism, Sports Concussion, Geriatrics, Neurology residency and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. Additionally, we provide coverage on our inpatient epilepsy monitoring unit and actively participate in weekly and bi-weekly epilepsy and deep brain stimulation surgical conferences.

In addition to clinical care, the incumbent neuropsychologist would be responsible for supervision of psychology externs, interns and post-doctoral fellows.  There are 3 APA-approved interns, 3 APPCN post-doctoral fellows, 4 practicum students and the opportunity to work with medical students, residents and fellows.  For those who qualify academic appointment at Wayne State University is available.  Research and forensic work are encouraged and supported by the health system.

•  The Pediatric Neuropsychology Service at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois is recruiting for a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist with a primary focus on assessing and treating Pediatric Hematology and Oncology patients served through the St. Jude Clinic – Midwest Affiliate on the OSF medical center campus. This position will be supported by a full-time Psychometrist.

•  The Pediatric Neuropsychology Service at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois currently employs one full-time doctoral-level neuropsychologist supported by a full-time psychometrist.

The Department of Neurology, The Neurological Institute, and Houston Methodist Hospital System are recruiting a full-time adult neuropsychologist to join our growing, vibrant, and busy interdisciplinary neuroscience group at the Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital campus.  The current neuropsychology team includes a neuropsychologist and a technician.  We work with diverse populations including stroke, TBI, neuromuscular, movement disorder, neurodegenerative, and neurosurgical cases. The successful candidate will have a desire to work with geriatric persons but will also have a breadth of clinical experience to reach across the adult age span.  We see a significant number of younger adults. The position requires strong clinical skills as well as excellent written and spoken communication skills.  The successful candidate will get to interface directly with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other medical professionals.  The patient care experience is of foremost importance here at Houston Methodist. Thus, an excellent bedside manner is a must.  This position will be designated primarily for outpatient service delivery. However, inpatient consultations are sometimes required.  An application for hospital privileges will be required.  The position is primarily clinical but developing a research agenda is also encouraged with internal support available. An academic appointment is available through Weil-Cornell Medical School.
